This policy outlines how James's Corner of the Web (this site) handles your data.

We collect absolutely ZERO personal data, IP addresses, or tracking information from our visitors. We only use the free visitor counter script provided by Free Visitor Counters, which logs anonymous page views and may use cookies for counting purposes.

2. Security (hCaptcha):

To protect the sacred Downloads area from bots and automated scripts, we use a third-party security service called **hCaptcha**. This service may collect personal data (such as IP address) and use **cookies** to determine if you are a human. **By enabling cookies**, data may be sent to hCaptcha. By attempting to access the Downloads page, you consent to hCaptcha's Privacy Policy.

3. Cookies:

Cookies might be set by the third-party visitor counter service and the hCaptcha security service. This site does not set any functional or tracking cookies ourselves.

4. External Links:

We use a fun warning modal to alert you before you leave our retro-safe space for the modern web (like GitHub or Wix). We are not responsible for the privacy policies of external sites.
